After I've had people take a hard look
      at their financial summary, I help them look at their family
      money history. I've found that many of people's anxieties and
      irrational behaviors are inherited from their parents and other
      family members. To help them come to terms with these influences
      I take them through a visualization in which they go back to
      their family home and recreate some of the money issues and feelings
      that their parents or other family members conveyed to them as
      they were growing up. Although they may be able to remember them
      in their mind, they become much more real to them through this
      visualization.
